The application consists of four steps:
Step1
the web page provides the list of all 300 stock exchanges. The web user opens the stock exchange which now displays all of the approximately 30 types of tradable securities on that stock exchange.
The web user opens the selected security typology and opens the third level which contains all the security that fall within the chosen typology.
Each security displays its description, its unique ticker, the oldest date of the closing data and the latest available update date, the type of record structure and the number of records that make up the entire series. Finally the price is displayed.
It is also possible to provide the official ticker directly or select all the securities belonging to the selected type with a single click.
It is also possible to select with a single click all the securities available in the selected stock exchange.
Step 2
When the user has made his first choice, the line shows the possibility of choosing a single security as a welcome gift.
With each new selection, the price of the entire sales order is updated by immediately calculating the accumulated progressive discount which continues to grow as the securities forming part of the order increase. The discount acts only within the order and at the next order the discount logic starts from scratch.
Step 3
At checkout you are asked for the data format, the download method, the billing method, the price in EUR or USD, the verification of the welcome gift, the total discount calculated up to that moment.
The inclusion of any discount voucher associated with the current offer and the available bundle.
We continue with the compilation of all the information necessary to convert the sales order into a purchase.
STEP 4
When the sales order has produced the invoice (therefore after successful payment), the plug-in communicates the tickers purchased to the dot net application and receives all the ticker-files in the requested format in the FTP area.
